Windows!

I am installing Windows 98 se on my ,aptop because I couldn't get my wireless card to work under Debian linus. So this is a last resort to see if my laptop will support the card, if not it is time to see if I can borrow enough money to get another laptop.....more to come as I get things done.
It turns out the laptop would not support my card, so I am now using an IBM thinkpad P2 233 with 48 MB RAM. I am using the wireless withit as we speak and when I get a display that works I am going to install Debian again but this time I will keep a backup of all of the documentation from it.

Debian

With the help of 2 of my friends and a whole bunch of reading I have gotten a D-link WLG-G650 wireless card configured for my laptop and for some reasin it still isn't working. I am trying to use NDISWRAPPER to wrap around the Windows driver but to no avail, it says that it is configured but upon boot with the card installed it says it cannot find WLAN0, I beleive it is because it is a pcmcia card and it needs to wait until the pcmcia services are started. I am just waiting for someone to contact me to tell me if my way of thinking is correct.
